    Essential

  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • Significant UK highway engineering experience undertaking schemes through the full project lifecycle, including budget/finance control.
  • Competency using UK standards such as DRMB, TSRGD, Manual for Street, MCHW, CDM and local authority standards.
  • Ability to lead project teams through delegation and management, mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent technical expertise in the design of road alignment, pavements, signing & road marking, VRS, road safety and active travel schemes.
  • Relevant design software eg CAD
  • Hold an appropriate professional qualification (BSc or BEng).
  • Desirable:

  • Civil 3D Experience
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • IEng or CEng.
