Senior Bridge Engineer
Locations: Bradford, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield, York, Yorkshire & Humber.
Type: Contract, Permanent, Salaried.
Salary: Dependent on experience, skills and location.
Experience Required
- UK experience within a public, private or third sector engineering environment.
- Experience delivering bridge or highway structure design, assessment, inspection or maintenance projects.
- Ability to independently undertake structural analysis, calculations and detailed design.
- Confident in applying DMRB, Eurocodes and/or relevant British Standards.
- Experience producing AIPs, assessment reports, design statements, specifications, BoQs or PCI packs.
- Understanding of CDM Regulations and experience applying them on projects.
- Proficient with industry standard structural analysis software.
- HNC/HND/BEng/BSc/MEng or equivalent.
- Working toward IEng/CEng or recently achieved.
- Experience mentoring engineers or supervising small teams. (Desirable)
- Experience with digital asset management systems. (Desirable)
- Experience in inspections or asset management planning. (Desirable)
- Awareness of temporary works and complex structural assessments. (Desirable)
