Experience required…

Essential

  • NEC ECC Supervisor Accreditation
  • Experience on Aviation projects working airside at major UK airports, including with structural concretes and asphalts
  • Experience in monitoring the works, witnessing relevant concrete and structural testing and in checking compliance with the Works Information quality clauses and testing requirements
  • Proven history in supervising the planning, execution, and completion of aviation projects under NEC4 ECC contracts
  • Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Expert in conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Able to address any issues or disputes that arise during project execution, implementing solutions in a timely manner
  • Detailed and thorough knowledge of CAA airport design, construction and safety standards

Desirable

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials and design standards
  • Able to stay up to date with relevant developments in aviation standards across the industry
  • Flexibility to adapt to new technologies
  • Proficient in negotiating contract terms with the contractor when site-based disputes arise, by using a good working knowledge of the Works Information and working in collaboration with the Project Manager
