Experience required:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Working toward Chartership (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent) or recently chartered.
- Experience in the design or construction of wastewater assets within a regulated water company environment.
- Familiarity with AMP cycles and water industry infrastructure delivery frameworks.
- Understanding of CDM regulations, construction techniques, and temporary works considerations.
- Solid grounding in civil engineering design principles.
- Good working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g. BS EN, Eurocodes, DMRB, SuDS Manual).
- Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (InfoDrainage), and MS Office.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with 3D design and digital delivery (e.g. BIM, Navisworks, ProjectWise).
- Familiarity with sustainable design, carbon reduction strategies, and nature-based solutions.
- Previous involvement in frameworks or alliance delivery models (e.g. D&B contracts with Tier 1 contractors).
