Experience required…
Essential
- UK experience within a public, private or third sector engineering environment.
- Exposure to bridge or highway structures through design, assessment, inspection or maintenance.
- Experience undertaking structural analysis and preparing calculations with support from senior staff.
- Understanding of DMRB, Eurocodes and/or relevant British Standards.
- Experience preparing or contributing to technical reports.
- Familiarity with producing drawings, specifications, Bo Qs or PCI packs.
- Awareness of CDM Regulations and designer responsibilities.
- Experience using structural analysis software.
- HNC/HND/BEng/BSc/MEng or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Desirable
- Progressing toward IEng/CEng.
- Experience with Auto CAD, BIM or digital inspection tools.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Experience with modelling packages (e. g LUSAS, MIDAS).
