Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified to degree level in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or other related field or experience in developing and delivering construction projects
- Experience delivering construction, buildings or regeneration projects through multiple stages of the project lifecycle.
- An understanding of how investment through capital projects can facilitate positive change and contribute to Thriving Towns and Places
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people verbally and in writing
- Experience compiling and monitoring project budgets
- Proven skills and knowledge to use IT packages including standard Microsoft Office software
- Experience of managing a collaborative, mixed, multi-disciplinary team
- Detailed understanding of contract procurement strategies in the construction and public sectors
- NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Prince2 or APM Qualification or other Project Management Qualification
- Experience of working with the public sector
- Experience communicating with MPs and Councillors
