About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and driven Internal Recruiter to join our existing recruitment team to support candidate resourcing across both Waterman Group and Waterman Aspen. This role will focus on sourcing high-quality contract and permanent candidates across engineering and infrastructure disciplines, with a particular emphasis on highways, construction, and the built environment. You’ll play a key role in building talent pipelines, engaging candidates and supporting hiring managers in securing the right people for a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract candidates for both contract and permanent roles across engineering disciplines
- Deliver end-to-end candidate resourcing, from initial outreach through to shortlist submission
- Use a variety of sourcing techniques including boolean searches, job boards, LinkedIn and headhunting
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across key skill areas (e.g. highways, structures, civil engineering, MEP etc.)
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and project needs
- Screen candidates and assess suitability against technical and cultural requirements
- Manage candidate relationships and provide a high-quality candidate experience
