Experience required:
- Essential: Proven technical ability in the design and assessment of bridges and highway structures.
- Degree qualified in relevant subject, ideally to MSc
- Working towards Chartership with ICE or IStrutE
- Good working knowledge of DMRB and Eurocodes
- Proficiency in use of structural analytical software
- Ability to deliver structural designs from concept to detailed designs stages.
- Experience of working on National Highways and Local Authority schemes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think in an innovative and entrepreneurial way
- Willingness to travel within the region if required
- The legal right to work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Bridge stock Asset Management experience desirable
- Familiarity working within a BIM project environment desirable.
