Experience required:
- Essential:
- Extensive experience in the design, assessment, inspection or asset management of highway structures within the UK.
- Deep technical competence in DMRB, Eurocodes, MCHW, CDM and relevant legislation.
- Ability to lead project teams, check designs, review calculations and oversee deliverables.
- Experience managing project programmes, budgets, resources and quality.
- Ability to act as a technical advisor and primary client contact.
- Experience preparing and overseeing AIPs, design reports, specifications, BoQs, PCI packs and H&S documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree/HNC/HND in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Typically CEng with ICE or IStructE, or equivalent depth of professional experience.
- Desirable:
- Experience signing AIPs or Cat 2/3 check certificates.
- Experience managing GI/PI programmes, capital maintenance schemes or broader asset management strategies.
