    Essential:

  • UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client Experience in leading technical teams within a public infrastructure or highways context.Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it), with expertise in bridges or large civil structures.Managing complex engineering projects, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.Proficient in developing and implementing asset management plans for bridges, interpreting data for strategic investment and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards throughout the asset lifecycle.Experience with contracts and procurement processes.Working within a political and multi-agency environment.Clear, confident communication with a strong focus on collaboration and results.Adapting to change and promoting best practice in engineering risk, design standards, and statutory compliance. A full UK driving licence
