Experience required…
Essential
- UK experience within a public, private or third‑sector UK‑based client
- Experience in leading technical teams within a public infrastructure or highways context.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it), with expertise in bridges or large civil structures.
- Managing complex engineering projects, budgets, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Proficient in developing and implementing asset management plans for bridges, interpreting data for strategic investment and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Experience with contracts and procurement processes.
- Working within a political and multi‑agency environment.
- Clear, confident communication with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
- Adapting to change and promoting best practice in engineering risk, design standards, and statutory compliance.
- A full UK driving licence
