Experience required:

  • Essential:
  • Experience within the UK Rail industry.
  • Ability to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Strong understanding of contracts such as NEC, JCT etc. and able to administer, execute and support on contracts and commercial strategies.
  • Proven experience in cost estimating, preparing bills of quantities, and managing tender processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and contractual obligations.
  • Experience of identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, value engineering and cost control measures.
  • Experience in managing cost, early warnings and variations.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related subject.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and a Full UK driving licence.
  • Desirable:
  • Achieved (or working toward) RICS Chartered status (MRICS) or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Exposure to project risk management and dispute resolution.
  • Experience working on large-scale or complex projects covering a range of disciplines.
