Essential Experience

  • Good UK experience within a public, private or third‑sector UK‑based client
  • An understanding of the design of bridges and other types of highway structures
  • Experience of working on a wide range of bridge types
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and a good understanding of structural behaviour
  • Experience of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) and specifically undertaking the PM role, acting for the client
  • Site and contractor management experience

Desirable Experience

  • Professional membership or demonstrable progress towards this
  • A full UK driving licence
