Contract: Permanent (term time only, or flexibility around a full-time contract can be discussed based on your circumstances).

Hours: 30 hours per week (part-time hours may be considered).

Location: Waterloo Lodge School, Chorley, PR6 7AX.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs.
  • Work within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice in an education setting.
  • Hold a Speech and Language Therapy caseload with the support of a designated clinical supervisor and site lead.
  • Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
  • Collaborate with the education team to support pupils in achieving positive outcomes and developing independence.
  • Maintain a safeguarding-focused approach and involve pupils in decisions that affect them.
  • Engage with ongoing professional development and CPD goals; a £2,000 training allowance is provided after probation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Good relationship-building, analytical and judgemental skills.
  • Willingness to attend training and work towards further qualifications relevant to the client group.
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
