Waterhouse-Kern Associates is proud to be working with a business in the North West of England to hire into its Treasury & Corporate Finance team. With a multi-billion pound mortgage loan book and a busy funding programme across high yield bonds, RCFs and securitisations, this is a hands-on seat for someone who wants to be close to live transactions rather than three lines removed from them. The Treasury & Corporate Finance team is small enough that you'll have direct exposure to the Directors, the rating agencies, and the deal lifecycle from origination through to investor reporting. This is not a back-office role.
What you'll do:
- Support the DCM Directors on raising and refinancing existing and new funding vehicles
- Own production and validation of Bank of England data tapes, performance data and investor / rating agency materials
- Deal admin across high yield bond, RCF and securitisation transactions
- Review of legal documentation alongside internal and external counsel
- Build relationships with rating agencies, investment banks, investors and internal stakeholders
What you'll bring:
- Open on years of experience, what matters is the substance.
- Backgrounds that translate well: Non-bank lenders, building societies, challenger banks (Treasury, DCM, Securitisation, Structured Finance), Rating agencies (Structured Finance teams), Big 4 securitisation or treasury advisory, Law firms with a securitisation practice (associate level, looking to step out of law), Investment bank DCM or Securitisation desks, Loan servicers familiar with BoE reporting and securitisation operations.
You'll also need:
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle business-critical deadlines
- A curious mind, able to explain complex things simply
- Comfortable in the detail but also willing to step back and ask 'so what?'
The package:
- £100,000 base salary
- Discretionary annual bonus up to 20%
- Shared Reward bonus every other year (effectively doubles your bonus)
- Matched pension, private medical, life assurance, critical illness
- 26 days holiday plus your birthday off, rising with service to 30 days
- Access to company holiday homes, free local gym, local discounts
The honest bits:
This is a fully office-based role, 5 days a week. You'll need to be commutable daily or willing to relocate. There is no hybrid option, no visa sponsorship, and no relocation package. Please only apply if all three work for you.
