Our Spa Therapistrole
We’re looking for a Spa Therapist to join our Watergate Bay Hotel team.
You'll be an excellent communicator with experience in a professional treatment environment, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for promoting work-life balance and the Watergate Bay Hotel brand.
Located within Swim Club, our Spa Therapistsdeliverhigh-qualitytreatments with sustainably sourced, naturaland ethical products, whilst creating a warm and attentive experience for every guest.
Whatyou’llbe responsible for
You'll provide a broad range of beauty treatments, including
- A variety of massages (maximum of four hours per day).
- Facials, manicures, pedicures and other treatments as required.
You’llalso
- Deliver a range of beauty treatments to the standards set by the Swim Club Manager, within the required timeframes, including:
- Discussing our treatment list with guests, giving professional advice where needed.
- Ensuring all guest feedback is passed on to our Swim Club manager.
- Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the hotel’s health and safety policy and procedures.
- Keeping treatment rooms clean and tidy, to the required standards, always.
- Ensuring all utensils and equipment are sterilised after every treatment.
- Managing bookings effectively to ensure that any changes areconsidered, meeting the preferences of our guests.
Whatwe’relooking for someone who
- Loves helping people feel their best and creating memorable guest experiences
- Is warm, welcoming and an excellent communicator
- Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or an equivalent qualification (such as BTEC or ITEC Level 3)
- Takes pride in delivering high standards with care and attention to detail
- Is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy environment
- Can confidently manage their own workload while working closely with the wider team
- Brings professionalism, discretion and integrity to everything they do
Additionalqualifications in hot stone massage, reflexology, pregnancy massage, oncologymassageor other holistic therapies are desirable but not essential.
