We’re looking for an organised, proactive Duty House Manager to be at the heart of our hotel operations, delivering an exceptional guest experience. You’ll oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, while maintaining high standards across all areas. With a hands-on approach, you’ll support the team, build relationships with guests, and step in wherever needed. In return, you’ll be part of a supportive team where no two days are the same, and where collaboration and a positive working environment are a given. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
As our Duty House Manager you’ll be:
- Overseeing hotel operations across all departments during your shift.
- Acting as the main point of contact for guest queries and feedback.
- Supporting Front of House during busy periods.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
- Welcoming VIPs, groups and returning guests.
- Handling complaints and resolving issues confidently.
- Coordinating guest requests and special occasions.
- Reviewing feedback and identifying ways to improve the guest experience.
- Acting as an ambassador for the hotel at all times.
You’ll also:
- Maintain a safe working environment and lead emergency procedures.
- Work closely with department heads to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure clear communication and handovers between teams.
- Support a seamless guest journey from booking to departure.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements across the hotel.
- Assist in covering our Night Manager during holidays & sickness.
- Understand our shared responsibility to care for our team and our planet, and the reason we are working towards B Corp accreditation.

- First Aid Qualification (desirable).
