Role Description A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our well-established team based in Bushey, Watford. The role aims to support the growth and success of the business. This is a sales-focused, customer-facing role, involving driving sales with both existing and new customers, responding to incoming queries, and proactively making outbound calls. You will offer a high level of service, be confident in processing orders, and handle queries from customers and suppliers over the counter and via phone. Stock and shop management are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a plumber’s merchant. Requirements To succeed in this Sales Assistant role, you should: Have sales/trade counter experience within the plumbing and heating industry Possess great communication skills and the ability to multitask Be proactive, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a confident telephone manner Be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
