Basic Function: Provide therapy, in an outpatient setting, to children, adolescents and families in the WCS Clinic. Therapy may be provided to individuals, families or groups of clients. This includes intake, assessment, treatment and discharge planning. The position may also require case management and community collaboration on behalf of the client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete intake assessment and, with guidance from the Clinical Director, determine treatment goals.
  • Provide outpatient therapy to clients, families, or groups on a regularly scheduled basis in the clinic.
  • Complete all paperwork related to intake, assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning, and billing as required for clinic licensure, accreditation compliance and data collection.
  • Participate in, and/or provide documentation for, meetings or proceedings related to clients outside the clinic.
  • Participate in clinic meetings or trainings as arranged by the Clinical Director.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Clinical Director.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related clinical field.
  • Experience providing individual, family or group therapy.
  • Ability to assess children, adolescents and families for treatment and provide this treatment in an outpatient setting.
