An excitingopportunity has arisen to appoint a SENDCo from January 2027 (or earlier iffeasible) in our successful, innovative and inclusive school.
We are an Of STED rated good school (June2025) and have an excellent reputation for being highly inclusive.
We have hada stable leadership team since opening, with many of our senior leaders beingwith us from the first day of opening.
We are lookingfor an experienced SENDCo with a strong SEND background to help set up and runour brand-new SEND provision as an assessment centre, aiming to provide wholefamily needs led assessments for pupils with social and communicationneeds.
It is intended that the provisionwill be supported by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who will worktogether with education staff to undertake a range of assessments to produceone co-ordinated plan, which involves parents, identifies the priority outcomesfor the child and is supportive of their provision in local schools.
Initially in the first year the provisionwill test and learn from pupils at Watercliffe Meadow school in order to builda strong, capable team clear about the range of assessments and support theycan provide.
