Position: Communications Manager – Partnerships (12 months fixed‑term contract, full time, 35 hours per week)
Location: London, UK – hybrid working: minimum 40% face‑to‑face (office or meetings)

About the role: You will manage the delivery of communications strategies for WaterAid’s corporate partnerships, working closely with the Communications and Fundraising directorate and key partners to drive sustainable change.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communications strategies for flagship partnerships, focusing on brand impact and income‑raising.
- Create creative partnership campaigns and activations; lead cross‑functional project teams to deliver integrated activities.
- Provide primary communications advice to partnership managers and corporate partners, identifying opportunities and advising on strategic messaging, content and tactics.
- Ensure insight‑driven, on‑brand messaging and creative that resonates with target audiences.
- Advise on optimal use of project budget to meet objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of communications activity, fostering a proactive learning culture.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and executing high‑impact brand or corporate partnership communications strategies, ideally for a non‑profit.
- Strong track record of integrated communications campaigns across owned, earned, shared and partner channels, targeting diverse audiences.
- Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas, with examples turning audience insight into compelling campaign activity.
- Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and motivate others in a cross‑functional setting.
- Skill to brief, critique and develop creative work constructively, with a good eye for brand, design, film and photography.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, able to drive projects forward while navigating competing priorities.
- Experience of monitoring and evaluating communications impact, using data and insight to drive learning and improvement.
