Working closely with senior leaders across the water industry and externally, you will shape Water UK’s response to sector reform and the development of the next regulatory settlement.
You will develop credible, evidence-based policy positions that improve outcomes for customers while supporting effective long-term planning, investment and delivery. You will need to understand how individual regulatory policies fit together and help ensure that reforms produce a coherent overall framework rather than a collection of separate interventions.
A central part of the role will be engaging with government departments, regulators, consumer organisations, parliamentarians, think tanks and other stakeholders. You will build and own relationships, understand different perspectives and ensure that Water UK contributes constructively and influentially to the debate about the future of the sector.
We are based in central London, close to St James’s Park. All roles are offered on a hybrid basis with an expectation of 3 to 4 days a week in the office.
