This position is based 100% at our site in Peterborough Service Centre, which is home to a large-scale regeneration facility as well as the base for a fleet of over 100 mobile water treatment units, primarily fixed within trailers and containers.
What you'll be doing:
- Fabrication, installation, and documentation of electrical systems
- Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and extra low voltage electrical circuits
- Preparation and termination of electrical circuits
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues
- Configuration of instrumentation
- Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and relays
- Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically
- Maintaining the quality of all products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment
- Electrical inspection and testing (EIC, EICR and PAT)
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (mandatory)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in industrial electrical works
- Experience wiring and fault finding PLC controlled equipment
Desirable:
- City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection
- Passport to Safety or equivalent
