Overview
We are currently seeking a Proposals/Tendering Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a modern and progressive business with strong prospects for career development. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality tenders and cost proposals for mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects in the water industry (both clean and wastewater sectors). Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete tender submissions for M&E projects in the water sector.
- Interpret technical documentation, drawings, and client specifications to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and delivery) to gather technical and commercial input.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations for inclusion in tender packages.
- Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, company procedures, and relevant industry standards.
- Support pre- and post-tender clarification processes, including attending site visits and client meetings as required.
- Maintain and improve pricing models, templates, and cost databases to support estimating efficiency.
