Operations/Project Coordinator

Salary: DOE

Holidays: 24 days per annum plus bank holidays increasing with service

Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Projects/Operations Coordinator to support the delivery of construction and water utility projects. The successful candidate will work closely with operational, delivery and commercial teams to support project activities, manage documentation, support resource planning, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with client requirements. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily construction activities by scheduling tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with project milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Projects teams to develop and update project registers ensuring accurate tracking of progress and commercial registers.
  • Monitor project progress in the office, identifying potential delays or issues early to support in corrective actions promptly.
  • Manage documentation related to construction operations, including reports, logs, change orders, and safety records.

Essential Experience

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an administration role or project coordination.
