Water Creative is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Senior Creative Producer to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for leading the delivery of integrated creative campaigns, photography and film productions, influencer content and experiential activations from initial client brief through to final delivery.
Whether producing a global content campaign, brand experience or live event, you’ll ensure every project is delivered creatively, operationally and commercially.
You will own the day-to-day production management across a portfolio of projects, ensuring every production is delivered creatively, operationally and commercially.
Working closely with the Head of Client & Business, and our creative lead, you will scope projects, build production plans, manage budgets, oversee suppliers and freelancers, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest creative standard.
This role requires someone who understands both production and creativity.
You will have a strong eye for visual storytelling and production quality, enabling you to build the right creative teams, source the right Directors, DOPs, Stylists, Editors, Models and Post Production specialists for every brief.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
3 years agency experience producing campaigns across photography, film, social content, influencer, experiential and branded content, with proven experience delivering projects from concept through to post-production.
Alongside production delivery, you will support agency growth through commercial thinking, proposal development and helping shape production approaches for new business opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- PRODUCTION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Lead the delivery of photography, film, content and experiential projects from briefing through to completion.
- Own project timelines, production schedules and delivery plans.
- Scope production requirements and build commercially viable delivery plans.
- Manage multiple campaigns and productions simultaneously.
- Identify project risks early and implement solutions.
- Ensure productions are delivered to Water Creative’s creative and operational standards.
- Lead on-set productions, ensuring seamless execution and decision-making.
- COMMERICAL BUDGET MANAGEMENT
- Build and manage detailed production budgets and estimates.
- Take ownership of project profitability from beginning to end.
- Monitor spend throughout production and proactively manage budget variances.
- Negotiate supplier, crew and freelancer costs to maximise commercial performance.
- Work closely with Finance on purchase orders, invoicing and reconciliations.
- Support pricing, project scoping and commercial planning for new projects.
- Identify scope changes and manage additional client requests appropriately.
- CLIENT MANAGEMENT
- Act as the primary production contact across assigned projects.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead production meetings, recce calls and project updates.
- Manage expectations around budgets, timelines and deliverables.
- Present production solutions confidently and professionally.
- Deliver exceptional communication throughout every stage of production.
- CREATIVE PRODUCTION
- Understand how creative translates across content, social and physical experiences, ensuring consistency from campaign concept through to live activation and final assets.
- Translate creative concepts into achievable production plans.
- Collaborate closely with creatives to protect the integrity of the creative vision.
- Recommend production approaches that enhance creative quality whilst remaining commercially viable.
- Source and build the best creative teams for every project including Directors, DOPs, Photographers, Stylists, Hair & Make Up Artists, Set Designers and specialist freelancers.
- Art buy and commission creative talent appropriate to each brief.
- Stay informed on emerging creative talent, production techniques and industry trends.
- POST PRODUCTION
- Oversee all stages of post-production delivery.
- Manage editing, colour grading, sound design, music licensing, VFX, CGI, animation and finishing where required.
- Build and manage post-production schedules.
- Coordinate review and approval processes with clients.
- Ensure final assets are delivered to the highest technical and creative standard.
- Maintain quality control throughout post-production until final delivery.
- Build and maintain a trusted network of freelance talent, production partners and specialist suppliers.
- Resource and assemble the most appropriate team for each project, considering creative fit, technical expertise, budget and client requirements.
- Source, brief and manage Directors, DOPs, Photographers, Stylists, Hair & Make Up Artists, Set Designers, Editors, Animators, CGI Artists, Event Managers and specialist freelancers.
- Negotiate freelancer and supplier rates to maximise project profitability while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Plan resource requirements across multiple concurrent productions, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed.
- Foster long-term relationships with freelance talent and production partners to continually strengthen Water Creative’s network.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Client & Business Operations and Executive Producer to identify resource needs and recommend the best creative and production talent for each brief.
- Support new business opportunities across the agency.
- Contribute to production proposals and creative responses.
- Identify production efficiencies and commercial opportunities.
- Support the continued growth of Water Creative through proactive thinking and innovation.
- THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a creative production agency.
- Proven experience producing integrated campaigns across photography, film, digital content and experiential marketing.
- Experience delivering live events, pop-ups, product launches or brand activations.
- Comfortable managing both studio productions and live event environments.
- Strong experience producing photography, film and content productions.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex production budgets and profitability.
- Strong commercial awareness with confidence discussing budgets with clients.
- Strong understanding of production workflows across photography, film and experiential.
- Excellent knowledge of post-production including editing, colour grading, sound design, CGI, animation and finishing.
- Experience sourcing and commissioning creative teams and specialist production talent.
- Strong understanding of production logistics and shoot planning.
- Highly organised with exceptional project management skills.
