We are looking for an ambitious Cyber Security Engineer to join us and work with the watchTowr Labs to expand our offensive security capabilities, in our mission of helping organisations understand how they could be compromised in realâtime. The role is based in the UK.

- Offensive Security Innovation: Lead R&D projects that push the limits of offensive security, replicating adversary tactics at scale to uncover vulnerabilities and provide actionable insights.
- Architecting Scalable Solutions: Design and implement cloudâbased, scalable infrastructures that underpin our cuttingâedge offensive security tools, ensuring they perform efficiently under highâdemand conditions.
- CloudâDriven Engineering: Utilise cloudânative services to develop resilient, big data solutions that form part of our offensive security & data processing capabilities.
- Data Pipeline Development: Engineer and maintain robust data pipelines that seamlessly process attack surface & offensive security data, delivering realâtime insights to enhance our Red Team capabilities.

Ideal Traits
We would love to talk to you if you have at least 2â5 years of software engineering experience, together with the following traits:
- Red Team and Offensive Security Expertise: Experience or exposure in building and deploying offensive security solutions, with a deep understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Proven experience in architecting and scaling cloudâbased solutions to support intensive data processing and realâtime threat analysis.
- Innovative Mindset: A proactive approach to security research and problem solving, with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges and deliver practical solutions.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, with a strong emphasis on building scalable, maintainable code.
Bonus Experience
It'll also be awesome if you:
- Have worked on and/or contributed to open source projects.
- Have experience working with significant amounts of data and handling 'big data' for security analysis.
- Have a strong handsâon understanding of offensive security (e.g., red teaming experience, vulnerability research, or capture the flag competitions).
- Understand common vulnerabilities and weaknesses on application security, network security, or cloud security.
