Job Description:

WatchHouse is a group of specialty coffee houses across London, Bath, and New York, emphasizing \”Modern Coffee\” with passionate people, industry-leading coffee, and thoughtfully designed spaces. We are seeking a skilled Senior Barista to join our Bath team, reporting to the House Manager and working with the Head Barista.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality of all coffee and drinks served.
• Maintain awareness of current drink offerings and standards.
• Manage the daily operations of the bar team.
• Lead and mentor team members.
• Manage stock levels and ordering.
• Train and develop team members, identifying training needs and opportunities for progression.
• Communicate regularly with the House Manager regarding scheduling, sales, service speed, and training.

Role Overview:

The Senior Barista plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of drink quality, leading the team in the absence of the Head Barista, and fostering a positive customer and team environment. Responsibilities include supporting stock control, equipment maintenance, and ensuring food safety standards.

Customer Experience:

Create a welcoming atmosphere, deliver excellent service, and ensure product quality. Coach and develop team members, provide constructive feedback, and uphold the WatchHouse culture.
