As a Kitchen Porter at WatchHouse, you play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen. From ensuring cleanliness and hygiene to supporting the team with essential prep work, you’ll be the backbone of our busy kitchens. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in keeping everything spotless and organized, we’d love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep all kitchen work surfaces, including counters, sinks, stoves, and walls clean, sanitized, and safe for use.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors at the start and end of shifts, and as needed throughout the day.
  • Quickly and efficiently wash crockery, cookware, utensils, and cutlery to keep them in active rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food and supply storage areas when required.
  • Follow cleaning schedules, ensure refuse and recycling are handled properly, and adopt a “clean as you go” approach.
  • Take out rubbish and recycling promptly and responsibly.
  • Support the kitchen team with routine food prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, or other simple tasks when needed.
