Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and attentive individual to join our busy Service Centre as a Quality Control Inspector. Based within our workshop you will be responsible for checking watches in and out of the departments for authenticity, condition, functions and timing. You will use a number of different analytical machines to check the mechanical aspects as well as visual checks for the aesthetics. You will need to be able to translate the results onto our system for other departments across the company to access and understand. Quality Control Inspectors assess any improvements made to the watch and whether the previous work has been completed to a high standard and determine whether further improvements could be made.
Responsibilities
- Check watches for authenticity, condition, functions and timing.
- Use analytical machines to inspect mechanical aspects and perform visual checks for aesthetics.
- Translate inspection results onto the company system for other departments to access.
- Assess improvements made to watches and determine if further improvements are needed.
Qualifications
- Outstanding administration/IT skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Extremely conscientious and strive for a zero error rate.
- Highly organised and capable of managing your own workload.
- Experience working with watches would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team.
- Ability to retain information and efficiently manage time to hit targets.
