Junior Merchandiser role based at our Carlton Park office in Leicester. Here at Watches of Switzerland Group we are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join the Merchandising β Watches Team.
Overview
You will support the Merchandiser with the effective delivery of the department\βs strategy and for the planning, controlling and monitoring of purchases. You will ensure that the correct processes and procedures are followed for the intake and distribution of merchandise with the aim of maximising sales and profit. You will be responsible for delivering agreed business, revenue and margin objectives in your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandiser with delivery of the department\βs strategy
- Plan, control and monitor purchases
- Ensure correct processes for intake and distribution of merchandise
- Maximise sales and profit in the assigned departments
- Deliver agreed business, revenue and margin objectives
About You
- Considerable experience at an Assistant Merchandiser level
- Evidence of supervising and coaching other team members to deliver outstanding results as part of a high performing team
- Ability to co-ordinate competing priorities to ensure targets and deadlines are met
- Experience of working within a budget whilst still trading profit opportunities
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong motivational, coaching & Interpersonal skills
- Experienced using Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of seniority
