We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead treasury activities for a UK‑listed group with international operations. The role would suit a strong CA/ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who enjoys accounting, cash flow reporting and has an interest in liquidity, funding, and financial risk management. The role covers both back office and front office treasury functions, alongside various accounting tasks including cashflow reporting. The position reports into and is supported by the Group Financial Controller, and has one direct report.

Qualifications

  • Strong qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Enjoys both working in the detail and taking a holistic view
  • Technical knowledge of IFRS, including cashflow reporting and treasury disclosures
  • Confident communicator with the gravitas to engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail‑driven, and comfortable operating in a regulated, deadline‑driven environment
  • Interest in cash management, debt structures, FX and interest rate risk
  • Group treasury experience in a PLC environment desirable
  • Experience supporting refinancing and working with a range of banking counterparties desirable

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages daily cash flow, forecasting, and short to medium term liquidity
  • Manage day‑to‑day intercompany funding and external bank account governance
  • Daily payment approvals in line with agreed segregation of duties
  • Cashflows for budget and three-year plan
  • Going concern and stress testing of facilities and covenants to ensure compliance is maintained
  • Facility management including banking relationships, facility drawdowns and covenant certificates
  • Maintain external bank relationships
  • Working capital optimisation
