We’re an independent waste brokerage, not a corporate. Our business is built on long-term relationships, trust, and practical recycling and waste solutions that work for our clients. We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, ideally with a proven track record in the waste industry, to help us win and develop larger regional and national clients.
This role is ideal for a successful Field Sales Executive in the waste industry who’s ready to take the next step. You’ll be responsible for winning new business across manufacturing, warehousing & distribution, facilities management, and hospitality, while building genuine, long-term client relationships. You’ll primarily work with large, single or multi-site SME clients, while remaining flexible to support businesses of all sizes where there’s a strong mutual fit. This is a predominantly field-based role with autonomy, trust, and strong internal support.
Key Responsibilities- Win new waste brokerage business across your region
- Build relationships with regional and national organisations
- Carry out site visits and understand client waste requirements
- Develop tailored waste and recycling solutions with internal support
- Manage the full sales cycle from first meeting to contract award
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity via CRM
- Proven B2B sales experience within the waste industry
- Currently a Field Sales Executive or BDM consistently hitting targets
- Strong relationship-building and new business skills
- Commercially confident and credible with senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organised, and a team player
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally based in the Midlands or South of England
