About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to lead and grow waste management operations at a key client site in Hampshire. This role will involve travelling to customer sites around Hampshire and surrounding areas. You will build strong relationships, deliver a high standard of service, and spot opportunities to grow the account. You will be mainly based in Hampshire, with travel across the wider contract covering Kent, Sussex, and the Isle of Wight.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the client on-site, acting as their first point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to upsell services that add value to the client and enhance sustainability outcomes.
- Nurture and grow large existing contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Travel between sites as required to support operations and client needs.
Skills & Experience:
- Full, valid, clean driving licence.
- Experience in waste management or related operational environments is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.
- Commitment to sustainability and delivering measurable improvements for clients.
- Previous experience managing large contracts or client accounts.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities to add value.
- Proactive, practical, and solution-focused approach to challenges.
