The Role
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient site performance. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, optimise plant processes, and champion continuous improvement across all operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of daily plant operations, including waste receipt, processing, and output quality.
Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Drive performance through KPI monitoring, process improvements, and data-led decision-making.
Oversee maintenance and reliability in line with the preventative maintenance schedule.
Coach and develop staff, promoting a strong safety culture and accountability.
Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to permits and best practice standards.
Support strategic growth projects and the future development of additional facilities.
Person Profile
We do not need chemical recycling experience. What do need is at least 3 years in an operational or site management role within waste, recycling, or process industries.
Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
A curious mind, and inquisitiveness to learn and develop new skills.
COTC (Level 4) or willingness to achieve.
IOSH/NEBOSH certification desirable.
Data-driven, organised, and proactive leader with a problem-solving mindset.
