We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Weighbridge Operator to join a busy operations team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role at the heart of the clients site, ideal for someone with experience in waste management, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound customer calls, advising on rates and waste acceptance options
- Setting up waste contracts, ensuring correct waste types and full compliance with legal documentation
- Managing weighbridge operations, including booking vehicles in and out, processing tickets, and maintaining accurate records
- Producing daily transaction reports for reconciliation and audit purposes
- Working closely with the skip hire team to ensure internal movements are correctly captured and recorded
- Liaising with credit control to resolve invoice issues
