Are you an experienced electro/mechanical engineer looking to apply your skills to cutting-edge sustainability technology? Advetec is a UK and US-based biotech company transforming how waste is processed to dramatically reduce landfill and carbon impact. As we scale deployment of our innovative XO systems across the UK, we are seeking a hands-on Installation, Commissioning & Servicing Field Engineer to join our growing Operations team. This is more than a service role — you will become the UK’s go-to technical expert for our field installations, working closely with Product Innovation, R&D and Project Management to help scale a genuinely game-changing technology.
What You’ll Do
- Install and commission Advetec XO systems on customer sites
- Optimise system performance and establish process parameters
- Diagnose electro-mechanical faults and provide technical solutions
- Train customer teams on system operation
- Support product testing and engineering development
- Contribute to SOPs, manuals and design improvements
- Travel UK-wide (2 days–2 weeks depending on project phase)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong process and electro/mechanical background
- Experience with major machinery installations
- Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics
- RAMs experience
- Cloud-based reporting familiarity
- Passion for sustainability and innovation
- Flexible, hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience of working with 3 phase powered systems
