The Mission
You are the Delivery Owner who ensures WasteHero’s platform is implemented with structure, transparency, and confidence. You transform complex data, integrations, and operational workflows into clear, executable delivery plans that customers trust. You bridge business, IT, and end users. You make enterprise SaaS understandable for UK local authorities. You bring order, direction, and predictability to high-stakes implementation programmes.
Lead End-to-End Delivery
- Own customer onboarding from contract signature through go-live and early stabilisation.
- Build structured delivery plans that create calm, clarity, and predictability.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across local authorities, including service managers, programme leads, operational teams, and technical specialists.
- Identify delivery risks early and maintain a “no surprises” implementation environment.
Orchestrate Technical Implementation
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical workstreams covering integrations, APIs, master data, workflows, and platform configuration.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Product, Data, and Customer Success to ensure aligned execution.
- Oversee ERP, CRM, OMS, and third-party system integrations, API flows, and user-journey mapping.
- Ensure architectural and integration assumptions are feasible, documented, and communicated.
Manage Data Migration & Operational Alignment
- Lead data mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
- Understand local authority operating models and align them with WasteHero’s platform capabilities.
- Ensure workflows support operational planning, collections, routing, citizen engagement, billing, and day-to-day service delivery.
Drive Customer Confidence
- Communicate proactively, clearly, and with structure.
- Guide customer teams through change management, adoption, and operational readiness.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, onboarding sessions, and process walkthroughs.
- Build trust through transparency, predictability, and delivery expertise.
Strengthen Delivery Excellence
- Improve delivery playbooks, templates, governance models, and internal processes.
- Ensure smooth transition from bid-phase solution design to delivery reality.
- Bring strong analytical thinking, architectural awareness, and structured governance into every programme.
You Bring:
- 6–12+ years of experience in IT delivery, SaaS implementation, digital transformation, or technical project/programme management.
- Strong technical understanding of data flows, APIs, system integrations, master data, and operational workflows.
- Experience coordinating across product teams, engineering, customers, and external vendors.
- Ability to break down complex topics and communicate clearly with both technical specialists and senior decision-makers.
- A structured, analytical, and transparent working style — you naturally bring order and calm to complexity.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience within local government, waste management, recycling, utilities, logistics, or public-sector digital transformation.
- Background working with ERP/CRM/OMS/WMS systems, large data-migration programmes, or complex integration landscapes.
- Experience delivering projects involving offshore or cross-border development teams.
- Familiarity with UK public-sector procurement, governance, or operational models.
