Waste King is a specialist waste collections company established for over 17 years. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit additional van drivers. The ideal candidate will enjoy working on their own, driving, and physical work. You will be assigned a modern van that you will use and keep at your home address. Fuels cards, PPE, and anything else needed to complete the role is provided. Onboarding training program is provided by one of our current drivers so that you become confident in your role and in the way we carry out business.
DUTIES
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Driving, looking after, and keeping the vehicle clean
- Lifting and loading different waste streams into one of our vehicles
- Using one of our handheld PDA systems to receive jobs and complete worksheets
- Keeping in contact with our office team and providing accurate information
- Completing walkaround checks in a professional manner and raising defects when they arise
Requirements or Skills:
- Have no major endorsements on your licence
- Have good communication skills
- Have a safe place to store your company vehicle overnight
