Waste Investigations Support & Enforcement (WISE) are a leading supplier who work in correlation with many Local Authorities to help assist with the infamous issue of Environmental related offences within the boroughs; which includes Littering, Dog Fouling, Fly Tipping and Anti-Social Behaviour. Utilising state of the art technology, together with vast experience within the industry and a clear, coherent understanding of PACE & all relevant legislation, WISE are a favourable supplier.
Main Purpose of the Role
As an Operational Support Team Administrator, you will be working within a busy office environment dealing with multiple projects in which you will receive extensive training from experienced members of the team. You will be speaking with customers on the telephone, who at times may be irate. You will be answering e-mail queries, working closely with our many clients and taking accountability for your own work.
Within your role, you will be:
- Using customer service skills whilst answering the telephone.
- Working closely with clients by answering any and all e-mails relating to complaints they may have received or wish for more information on.
- Using state of the art technology to quality assure the issuance of Fixed Penalty Notices and auditing our body-worn camera vault.
- Compiling prosecution packs for the clients' legal team and quality checking all work being put forward for legal action.
- Regularly using Microsoft Packages (Excel, Outlook, Word) to conduct your work.
- Regularly speaking with Enforcement Officers who are 'on the ground' who may call for assistance with queries they may have.
- Updating a bespoke 'hot spot' sheet on a daily basis of particular areas in which are receiving littering/dog fouling/fly tipping issues.
- Taking accountability for contracts in which you will be assigned to, which can include (but not limited to); answering e-mails, dealing with representations within 10 working days, dealing with customer queries and having a fine eye for detail.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- The ability to communicate with all members of the public, at times in demanding circumstances - it is important for the candidate to remain resilient.
- The ability to use own initiative when carrying out their role, and work within a team environment.
- Ability to use Microsoft Packages (e.g. Word, Excel).
- Capable to multi-task and take lead of their workload.
- Clear and concise writing skills.
- Knowledge of commercial waste disposal processes and legislation.
Ability to commute/relocate:
St Helens, WA9 1UA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (required).
- IT skills: 2 years (required).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Β£12.76 per hour
Expected Hours: 45 hours per week, 9 hour shifts, plus occasional weekends.
Work Location: In person, office-based.
This is a full-time role, whereby you will be required to work 5 days out of 7 at a total of 45 hours per week. You may be required to work the occasional Saturday, however you will receive a rest day mid-week to compensate this and plenty of notice.
The successful candidate will be paid Β£12.76 per hour, access to 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and be part of one of the fastest growing companies within this industry!
