About the Role

Are you passionate about leading teams to make communities safer and tackling anti-social behaviour? We are looking for an experienced and proactive Team Manager to oversee our Neighbourhood Patrol team working with Brent Council. In this role, you will manage a team of officers, ensuring high standards of service delivery, coordinating operations, and working closely with local partners to reduce anti-social behaviour and improve public safety.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of neighbourhood officers
  • Monitor and ensure team performance meets operational targets and KPIs
  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve complex ASB issues
  • Coordinate patrols, investigations, and community engagement activities
  • Liaise with council partners, community groups, and other stakeholders
  • Review and quality-check reports and evidence gathered by officers
  • Mentor and coach team members, providing feedback and development opportunities
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • At least 2 years' experience in community safety, ASB enforcement, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
  • Experience in partnership working with local authorities and community groups
  • Problem-solving mindset with an investigative approach
  • Professional, calm, and resilient in challenging situations
