We are looking for confident, committed people to join our team as an Environmental Enforcement Officer. The role is straightforward: you will spend your day on foot patrol across the city centre and outer boroughs, identifying environmental offences and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) to offenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol busy areas and outer boroughs on foot throughout your shift.
- Challenge and issue FPNs to individuals committing offences such as littering, dog fouling, and fly-tipping.
- Record activity accurately in reports and statements.
- Educate the public on environmental responsibilities.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Strong communication skills and presence.
- Resilience and confidence when dealing with the public.
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor patrols in all weather.
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-focused.
- Driving licence preferred (not essential).

Compensation & Benefits
- £13.85 per hour, full-time, permanent contract.
- 40 hours per week, Monday-Sunday shifts between 8am-6pm.
