Position Summary
This position helps to divert the University’s landfill waste through on-site composting and increased recycling. The Waste Coordinator will play a key role in managing waste on campus, including the campus compost effort, data collection and analysis, move‑out, and assisting with the Food Recovery Network. Occasionally must be able to pick‑up and transport food scraps for composting.
Work Schedule
Students are asked to have office hours Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8am-5pm. Ideally, the candidate may start working for a few hours during the 2024 Spring Semester to be mentored by the existing Waste Coordinator.
