Wasserman is recruiting a Manager, Event Ticketing to work on MLB London Series 2026 and a pipeline of other major events on a full-time basis within a 12-month fixed term role starting in August, reporting to Wasserman’s Senior Director, Event Marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced event ticketing professional to work within a growing team promoting exciting sporting and entertainment events. The chief responsibility of the role is MLB London Series. The role will be within a marketing team working on the event for Wasserman. Key objectives for the team include selling out both General Admission tickets and Hospitality packages. The Ticketing Manager will work across multiple workstreams including marketing, hospitality and venue operations.
Key Roles And Responsibilities Include:
- Work with London Stadium to confirm ticket manifest which will include temporary stands.
- Work with Ticketing Agent to load manifest onto ticketing platform.
- Influential role in ticket pricing strategy including development of scenario plans / flexible pricing models.
- Managing ticket allocations including for MLB, Hospitality, Pre-sales, General Sale and Holds.
- Lead in ensuring the event follows best-practice in terms of accessible ticketing practices.
- Managing and processing Group Sales.
- On-sale management and monitoring.
- Working with ticketing colleagues, hospitality sales colleagues and the ticketing agent to maximise yield while filling the stadium as you track sales against forecast and targets.
- You will lead in the reporting of ticket sales with direct interaction with the stakeholder group.
- Responsibility for managing Ticketing Agent to ensure proper customer service.
- Support stadium box office on game days.
- Creating, nurturing and developing good working relationships including with MLB, our ticketing agent, pre-sale marketing partners, NGBs, broadcasters, sponsors and others.
- Post event evaluation, recommendations and reporting.
Key to success in this role is to recognise that MLB are our partners and that ticket plans will need MLB support and approval. A collaborative character with excellent communications skills, high standards and experience working in complex stakeholder groups is therefore a pre-requisite.
