The client group is our Brands & Properties division in EMEA, the client group is around 320 based in the UK as well as looking after our APAC, Benelux and German offices.
This role is part of the Global People Partner team so a global mindset is essential.
This is a maternity cover contract, starting in December 2025 for a period of 16 months.
What You’ll Do
- Create relationships at all levels in the Brands & Properties client group, through regular catch ups and keeping an ear to the ground for day to day issues, so you can offer proactive, pragmatic and commercial solutions.
- Be the senior point of contact for all partnering with the Brands & Properties team in the UK and Europe
- Confident in coaching management in all aspects of employee relations
- Support the Business Ops leadership team in building out the People plans for their areas for 2026/2027
- Build a close relationship with the business ops team within the division and be heavily involved in all People and Operations situations within the division
- Be a key player within the connection committee of the division, supporting connections of the overall group, bringing new ideas to the group and support in all division wide sessions.
- Responsibility for coaching managers in redundancy, disciplinaries, grievances.
- Support our People Advisors, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Encourage and coach people on setting goals and managing check-in’s with their teams.
- Responsible for analysing engagement data through our Peakon platform, and working with the wider People Team to deliver interventions to increase engagement levels.
- Identify training needs and support L&D initiatives, including the delivering of internal training initiatives
- Ability to work flexibly with the different teams within the division, understand what each area of the business needs
- Confident in supporting our EMEA teams, in Benelux and Germany, being their first point of contact for all People matters.
- Support rolling out training to the divisions as well as supporting the wider People team.
- Partnering with the People Operations team to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Coordinate offboarding processes, including completing exit interviews and provide feedback to manager and SVP People Partnering.
What We’re Looking For
- You need to know your stuff – solid grounding in a generalist, client facing people role at People Partner level.
- You must have a solid knowledge of employee relations including but not limited to – Handling disciplinaries & grievances, redundancy process, performance issues, long term sickness.
- Ideally an understanding of Partnership Management, Experience and Creative teams – it is a special kind of world, where you have to demonstrate your commercial ability to operate effectively.
- Preferably knowledge in looking after European teams as well as large teams within the UK.
- Keen ability to help prioritise and with a deep understanding of the business priorities, you know how to maximise resource and operational efficiencies.
- Resilient with a strong sense of team.
- Ability to flex style and approach depending on the stakeholder and client group.
- You need to be commercial and work with the mindset of evidence based people activity.
