The People Advisor will take an active role in our people team providing proactive and people centered support across the full employee lifecycle. We are a supportive and collaborative People team who value thoughtful insight, open communication and working together to solve problems. We take pride in delivering a high-quality service, whilst enjoying the work that we do. This is a 6 month FTC role from July to December 2026.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- General HR Support
- Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing clear, confident and empathetic guidance across a range of people matters including family leave, sickness absence, benefits and workplace queries.
- Leading on internal relocations, partnering closely with individuals and managers to ensure a smooth, well‑communicated and supportive experience.
- Drafting a wide range of HR correspondence, including outcome letters and formal documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency and appropriate tone.
- Updating the HR system accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring employee records remain up to date and compliant.
- Owning the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and identifying themes and opportunities for improvement.
- Pro-active stakeholder partnership
- Building strong working relationships with leaders and employees, proactively identifying people risks and opportunities.
- Supporting the on-boarding process for new starters, ensuring a positive and consistent experience.
- Conducting regular new starter check ins, responding appropriately to feedback and emerging needs.
- Providing coaching, advice and challenge to managers.
- Employee Relations
- Managing sickness absence cases with confidence and sensitivity, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Leading, coaching and guiding managers through performance and capability cases.
- Data & Insight
- Analysing exit interview feedback to identify trends, risks and areas for action.
- Analysing Peakon employee survey data and recommending actions.
- Compiling quarterly People Analytics packs.
- Maintaining our ER tracker.
- Project work
- Supporting talent mapping and development activity, helping embed this across the division.
- Working with the team on L&D initiatives, including supporting the delivery of workshops and identifying training needs.
- Supporting in the creation of manager guides and materials.
- Contributing to other people projects as required.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
- Solid experience in a generalist HR role (People Advisor / Junior People Partner level).
- Proven experience providing advice and guidance in a fast paced, evolving environment (creative or similar preferred).
- Confident handling ER matters and coaching managers through people challenges.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform recommendations and decisions.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written with great interpersonal skills; able to provide a calm, supportive approach to people problem solving.
- Experience with HR systems, ideally Workday.
- Collaborative, team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues.
- Genuinely interested in developing knowledge and staying curious about best practice.
