As a result of growth to a key client’s global partnership portfolio, THE·TEAM are looking to onboard a dynamic, motivated Account Manager to support with the planning and execution of a global brand partnership within motorsport. A manager with experience in client service, project management, budgeting and finance tracking. You will be an expert communicator, problem solver, team player and have proven experience managing clients and projects in the live experience space.

You will be responsible for planning, delivering and managing year 1 of a multi-year brand partnership, focusing on specific milestone projects throughout the year as well as providing always-on support to the senior account and client leads. Working collaboratively alongside partnership, strategy, creative, production and content teams, you will support the budgeting, resourcing and process by which the project is successfully delivered, however your key focus will be the client. Keeping them abreast of project developments, taking them on the journey, proactively managing their time with concise communications.

You must have the ability to command the respect of the wider team, leave your ego at the door, be a flexible team player and an ambassador for THE·TEAM at all times.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Assists in the day-to-day management of global activation vertical, under the supervision of the Associate VP.
  • Day to day client contact working deliver global activation planning and delivery.
  • Clearly communicate client needs to all internal teams/departments and manage progress/output.
  • Update regularly on account/project status highlighting key points.
  • Set up and lead client meetings ensuring agendas and minutes are circulated.
  • Develop and manage project timing plans.
  • Lead client communications including all documentation (status reports etc.).
  • Lead presentations of work, project updates, budget etc. where necessary both in written format (PPT/decks etc.) and in face-to-face presentations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to brief, SOW, budget, deadline and KPI's.
  • Set up, manage and reconcile client budgets on internal systems for up to £1m.
  • Instil confidence regarding all aspects of delivery of the project in the eyes of the client.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • At least 3 years associated industry experience with agency background.
  • Convey a confident presence in client conversations.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in PowerPoint.
  • Independently craft nuanced written communications for parties at all levels.
  • Ability to stay consistent and deliver quality product despite complex and unexpected challenges.
  • Significant brand building experience either in-house or agency.
  • Experience within sports, entertainment, and lifestyle sector.
  • Expert knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Competent and confident across the full marketing mix.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and be able to create a rapport with people of all demographics.
  • Proven account management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance client relationships.
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • High level of initiative and works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think creatively whilst taking into account client objectives and budget parameters.
  • Strong self-management, including the ability to assess a situation and quickly implement solutions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times.
  • Happy to travel internationally at key points across the calendar year to deliver international events.
  • Ideally a strong interest in the sport & entertainment industries (experience working within motorsport desired, but not essential).
