Client group of around 120 based in the UK. The client group consists of our Sales and Hospitality Teams, Major Events, Mass Participation, Legal, IT, Impact and our Marketing Communications team. This role is part of the Global People Partner team so a global mindset is essential.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Stakeholder Management & Coaching
    • Create relationships at all levels in the client group, through regular catch‐ups and staying attuned to day‐to‐day issues so you can offer proactive, pragmatic and commercial solutions.
    • Support managers on performance issues identified through the review process, advising on extensions and capability processes.
    • Work with key stakeholders to ensure an equitable pay and bonus review process.
    • Encourage and coach people on setting goals and managing check‐ins with their teams.
    • Support managers with the effective onboarding of their team members.
    • Coordinate the six‐month review process, conducting mid‐review meetings and providing feedback to managers.
    • Manage parental leave meetings – maternity, paternity or shared parental leave – offering advice and support while ensuring the process is documented and completed in a timely manner.
  • Employee Relations
    • Coach line managers on all people‐related issues – restructures, redundancy, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working, sickness, conduct and capability issues – and escalating matters as required.
    • Keep up to date with employment law and regulation changes, updating the team.
  • People Ops
    • Use Workday to its full advantage, whether for analytics or automating core processes.
    • Partner with the People Operations team to ensure a seamless employee experience.
    • Coordinate off‐boarding processes, including completing exit interviews and providing feedback to managers and the SVP People Partnering.
    • Work with the People Team on delivering the annual pay and bonus review.

The Skills And Experience You Need

  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, including but not limited to handling disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy processes, performance issues and long‐term sickness.
  • Ideally an understanding of sales or agency life, demonstrating commercial ability to operate effectively.
  • Ability to prioritise and, with a deep understanding of business priorities, maximise resource and operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resilience with a strong sense of team.
  • Adaptable style and approach depending on stakeholder and client group.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements and a thirst for continuous improvement.
  • Proactive in asking for help, advice and support.
