We are looking for a Director, PR & Marketing to develop and lead our agency-wide plan to position Wasserman as a thought leader across strategy, creative and experiential in sport, music and entertainment. The role’s core objective is to build external awareness of our capabilities, increase relevance with CMOs and senior marketers, and ultimately drive high-quality leads into our new business pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a quarterly thought leadership programme aligned to our four core service pillars: Partnerships | Strategy | Creative | Experiential.
  • Create a series of opinion-led articles and POV pieces each quarter that demonstrate our expertise, credibility and cultural relevance.
  • Manage and activate senior leadership LinkedIn presence, including planning individual content strategies aligned to each leader’s service focus, amplifying agency thought leadership, and engaging meaningfully in relevant industry conversations.
  • Deliver monthly reactive commentary aligned to the industry news agenda and our live work, ensuring Wasserman has a consistent and credible voice in market.
  • Create and manage content across social, email and outreach to support thought leadership, events and hosting, and industry moments and partnerships.
  • Lead the awards strategy for B&P, including identifying opportunities, shaping narratives and managing submissions.
  • Support lead development and nurture activity, working closely with senior stakeholders to help convert awareness and relationships into pipeline opportunities.
  • Attend events and support wider Marketing and Outreach team to plan and deliver our pipeline.

  • Commercially focused with a strong new business mindset, understanding the role that ideas, insight and thinking play in opening doors and supporting growth.
  • Experienced in the agency landscape, with a clear understanding of how agencies position themselves, generate momentum and support new business efforts.
  • Passionate about the trends and themes shaping brands and marketing, with a strong interest in sport, music and entertainment.
  • Comfortable working independently with a high degree of accountability, and confident collaborating closely with senior leadership, anticipating needs and supporting them effectively.
