Wasserman London seeks a Sr. Director to join our Social & Influencer department. We are a team full of people who genuinely care about doing great work. We’re a longstanding leader in the influencer and content space, having executed award-winning, global programs with some of the biggest brands in the world. We serve as problem solvers for our clients, helping them grow their business through content and campaigns consumers love.

The person in this role needs to have a mind for organic business growth, someone who can see and foster new opportunities while managing current deliverables. This position will involve a good deal of project management, so you should be comfortable managing both timelines and clients simultaneously, as well as multiple projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is extremely organized, process oriented, and self-starting. Successful candidates will lead a team and act as a trusted resource for clients and internal team members. This is the perfect role for a leader that is inherently, naturally, gloriously social, both online and off. They should be passionate about the evolution of the brand-customer relationship and enthusiastic about all things digital and social. They should have a high-level ability to communicate effectively, creatively solve problems, and make decisions. Most importantly, they should be curious to learn and willing to put themselves in uncomfortable positions, constantly striving to push the boundaries of what is possible.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates strategic strong ability to help develop, manage, and coordinate long term execution plans from client’s stated business objectives and implement those plans.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of integrated campaign management.
  • Oversee the execution of social campaigns from beginning to end, ensuring campaign elements are aligned with brand expectations, deliverables and campaign brief.
  • Provide daily account management via in-person, phone, or email with client and agency partners.
  • Ability to sell in big ideas that drive brand awareness and relevance.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Deepen the client relationship through recommending, fostering, creating, and delivering effective campaigns.
  • Work closely with other cross-functional teams to ensure effective social campaigns.
  • Establish strong and trusting client relationships internally and externally.
  • Monitor and keep abreast of industry news and trends report updates including information on specific influencers, the influence/social landscape and emerging influencer identification.
  • Work closely with strategy and client to identify emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation.
  • Work with the New Business team on RFPs, assigning project leads and recommending deliverables.
  • Devise engagement strategies, approve content, manage scopes, deliverables and campaigns, and oversee resource allocation to ensure that all parties stay true to the strategic vision and voice across channels 24/7, 365.
  • Displays understanding of business concepts and client objectives in order to identify campaign expansion opportunities.
  • Facilitate client presentations and internal briefings.
  • Keeping all agency teams (creative, strategy, media, production, across multiple markets) informed, focused, and motivated about business.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

  • 5-7+ years’ agency experience managing Social and Influencer led accounts.
  • Experience onboarding and growing a new client.
  • Possess strong knowledge of awareness marketing principles and strategies, specifically for Social and Creator.
  • Smooth communication skills: persuasive, strategic, proactive, diplomatic. Ability to work alongside client onsite to streamline communications and to identify growth opportunities.
  • Natural leadership abilities. Extensive experience with managing strategy and creative to deliver innovative ideas.
  • Experience implementing social media, influencer, digital and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation.
